Terms of Service

Last updated: 11 August 2026

These terms govern your use of the Tarjimly platform (tarjimly.sa). By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to these terms.

1. The role of the platform

Tarjimly is an intermediary platform that connects clients with certified translation offices and independent event interpreters. We do not perform translations ourselves; the translation is performed by the office or interpreter you select, who is responsible for the accuracy and certification of the work.

We verify the regulatory documents of offices before accepting them onto the platform (commercial registration, tax certificate, and relevant approvals), but this does not constitute a guarantee by Tarjimly of the outcome of any individual order.

2. Accounts

  • You must be 18 or older, or use the platform under the supervision of a guardian.
  • You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your login credentials confidential.
  • Creating fake accounts or impersonating others is prohibited.
  • We may suspend or close any account that breaches these terms.

3. Pricing and payment

Pricing works differently depending on the type of user:

  • Individuals: pay per document, with no subscription or monthly fee. The prices shown on the pricing page are indicative; the office sets the final price based on the language pair and urgency.
  • Businesses: monthly or annual credit subscriptions. Choosing annual billing means you pay for ten months and receive twelve (two months free).
  • Translation offices: joining is free with no subscription fee; a commission is due on completed orders only, at the rate published on the pricing page.

All displayed prices exclude VAT (15%), which is added at checkout together with a compliant tax invoice. Payments are processed through our payment provider Moyasar; accepted methods include mada, Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, and bank transfer for business accounts.

4. Wallet and credits

A credit is an in-platform payment unit; one credit equals one Saudi riyal. When you place an order, the amount is reserved from your balance and is not transferred to the office until the service has been completed and verified, after which the office is paid through a scheduled weekly or monthly settlement.

Subscription credits renew with each billing cycle. Carry-over of unused credits is subject to the terms of the plan you subscribe to.

5. Your obligations regarding documents

  • You confirm that you have the right to upload the documents and request their translation.
  • Uploading unlawful content, or content that infringes the intellectual property rights of others, is prohibited.
  • You are responsible for the legibility of your document; unclear documents may affect translation accuracy and price.
  • You should review the delivered translation within the period set out in the Refund Policy in order to report any errors.

6. Obligations of translation offices

  • Keep client documents confidential and not use them for any other purpose.
  • Deliver a certified translation faithful to the source document within the agreed timeframe.
  • Maintain a valid licence and update regulatory documents upon expiry.
  • Honour published prices and not transact off-platform for orders received through it.

7. Cancellation and refunds

Cancellations and refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, which forms an integral part of these terms.

Read the Refund Policy

8. Limitation of liability

As an intermediary, Tarjimly’s liability for any order is limited to the amount paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including losses arising from a third party rejecting a translated document, without prejudice to your remedies under the Refund Policy.

We do not guarantee that any government body or embassy will accept a translated document, as acceptance is subject to that body’s own requirements.

9. Intellectual property

You retain ownership of your source documents. Ownership of the delivered translation passes to you once it has been paid for in full. The Tarjimly name, logo, and platform design remain our property and may not be used without written permission.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the competent Saudi courts have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them. We will first seek to resolve disputes amicably through our support team.

11. Changes and contact

We may amend these terms; the last-updated date appears at the top of this page. Your continued use of the platform after an amendment constitutes acceptance of it.
